Manager, Business Development - New York - New York

• Responsible for prospecting & acquiring of medium to large B2C as new members of the Abacus B2C Alliance.

• Follows prescribed sales process as described in the B2C sales process manual. Activities include making telephone and in-person calls on prospective clients, developing sales proposals, giving product demonstrations & selling features & benefits of Abacus Alliance membership. Involves gathering key business requirements and then formulating and presenting customer focused Abacus solutions.

• Negotiates contract terms & pricing. Facilitates contract generation & completion. Facilities post-sale processes to achieve timely & smooth acquisition of client house file data. Works closely with internal departments & senior management to close & execute sales strategy.

• Coordinates with account management staff to facilitate smooth transition & timely revenue generation.

• Responsible for achieving assigned acquisition goals.

• Responsible for forecasting & pipeline management. Prepares and informs management of updates to territory analysis on a regular basis.

• May provide technical guidance to inside sales reps.
