Samsung Regional Sales Manager - Business Communications Systems - California

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the sale and support of Samsung Business telephone systems in Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho, and Montana. This is a field position that requires the individual to be in front of dealers, prospective for new dealers, and training existing dealers. Regional Sales Manager needs to cultivate and maintain sales account relationships, meets frequently with customers, identifies sales opportunities, initiates, and obtains approved sales orders to achieve targeted sales goals. They also provide client product education of Samsung system features, functionality, and benefits.

Qualifications:

* A Bachelors Degree in business, or a technical degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Extensive, related industry experience may suffice.

*A minimum of 8 to 10 years experience generating customer sales with direct customer contact in a high technology, network, or telecommunications environment.

*Previous knowledge with interconnect sales and Key/PBX telephone systems. Successful person will have a working knowledge of data networks and IP telephony a plus.

*Experience in researching and resolving customer sales complaints and issues. Candidate must have excellent writing and follow-up skills.

*Experience in participating in or assisting in developing sales presentations using a variety of PC applications, including word processing, spreadsheet, and graphic arts software. Ability to work with a SAP based computer system a plus.

Job Duties:

*Generates sales from existing customers and develops new customer sales. Prospects for additional sales opportunities within existing customer accounts. Develops thorough understanding of customer needs and utilizes information to promote STA product sales as solution to customer needs.

*Provides personal sales support to customers within assigned region. Cultivates positive customer relationships, educates customers on STA product features, functionality and benefits. Continually provides competitive product information to customers that will promote the sale and application of STA systems products. Develops and uses persuasive solution scenarios to identify effective and beneficial customer system applications.

*Maintains detailed assessment of customer purchase opportunities of all accounts in assigned area.

*Provides reports and feedback to corporate regarding competition, pricing, and market changes.

*Performs end user sales calls on behalf of Samsung and the Authorized Dealer.

*Responds to daily emails and telephone messages.
